Nordic Chem Exalt

Nordic Chem Exalt is part of the Nordic Chem 2.0 series of coatings. Exalt has been specifically designed for the exterior surfaces of a commercial building. The coating will withstand environmental impacts such as UV, extreme temperatures, excessive water and heavy contamination. Exalts purpose is to protected exterior surfaces from damage and ensure these surfaces are easier to maintain and clean.  

After application, buildings can expect to be mould and fungi free, restored to their intended colours and sealed from outside contamination. Exalt will also significantly decrease the need for pressure washing and scrapping which damages these substrates and leads to waste of water and chemicals.

Wood

Wooden substrates are one of the most common materials found in a commercial environment. Wooden surfaces are easily faded and worn due to abrasion and environmental damage. Nordic Chem 2.0 will absorb deep into the anchor pattern of wood and enhance the natural colours by rejuvenating from the inside out. Application on exterior wooden surfaces such as benches, tables and window sills have the biggest impact on visual enhancement and appeal after application of the coating.

Stone

Stone in many cases is a very porous substrate which can be made up of composites that range in hardness. It can chip and erode very easily as water and other contaminants absorb into the material. Nordic Chem 2.0 has been designed to bond composites and varying material types together on a nanoscale to increase durability and contaminate prevention.

Glass

Glass can be an especially difficult surface to maintain due to its reflective qualities and is normally installed in hard to reach areas of commercial buildings. Nordic Chem 2.0 Exalt, will fill the nanoscopic pores in glass to ensure a smooth and slick surface that repels dirt, water and grime. This results in the glass having extreme self-cleaning properties which means less cleaning and maintenance is required.

Metal

Metallic surfaces are very time consuming to maintain and are easily marked by fingerprints, oxidation, contaminants or corrosion. Nordic Chem 2.0 Exalt has been found to have its biggest effect regarding cleaning time saved on metallic surfaces. Some of the metals that have seen the biggest savings on cleaning have been brass, aluminum and frame work.

Cement substrates are used in flooring and facades as common practice in many commercial environments. These areas are subjected to the harshest of environments and contamination. Bacteria and fungi are a common occurrence in these areas. As these substrates are the foundation of a building, unhealthy concrete can lead to an unhealthy building. Nordic Chem 2.0 has the ingredients to not only terminate the existing contamination but prevent further damage and restore natural standards to this substrate.
